Well, friends, only two days left of Spring Break, so everyone better get crackin’ on all those fun plans! We have had some fun playdates; however, I always have a tendency to cram “fun playdates” all into one week, so I am definitely feeling it now. I’m kind of ready to rest up a bit and get back to our usual routine.
We are currently undecided on our plans for Saturday, but Sunday will of course be spent at church in the morning and with family the rest of the day. I also have my Easter dress picked out, a decision that was made easy thanks to eShakti.
I’ve been stalking eShakti for a while, ever since I saw a dress another Insta-friend received. They are known for making custom dresses to your measurements, but you can also select a size if that’s more your speed. (Which I did. Because I’m impatient, and I couldn’t find my tape measure to even take measurements, and didn’t want to go buy another one because I KNOW it’s in a basket somewhere!)
I chose this adorable fit and flare dress with a floral print–and if you can’t tell, it also has little bunny rabbits!
I knew this would be perfect for Easter and more importantly, Easter egg hunts. (Aida is not quite ready for big Easter egg hunts. She’ll find one egg, open it, then sit and play with whatever is in that egg and forget about the rest of the world.)
I love the bright pops of color–it makes me so excited for spring and warm weather. I paired it with some nude pumps, but it would like just as good with a cute pair of sandals.
This dress was just crying out for my Sugarfix earrings I bought last year, and I’m tempted to get another style because they’re so inexpensive, but are so much fun and can be styled with lots of different outfits. (And bonus, Target has a BOGO on accessories right now, among other great sales.) I also just had to wear my (newish) NARS lip gloss with this dress. This dress is so fun and flirty, a brightly colored lip gloss seemed like just the right thing to bring it all together.
And did I mention this dress has pockets?!? What woman doesn’t lose her mind over a dress with pockets?!?
Unfortunately, it looks like they may be all out of this fabric for dresses, but there are TONS of options on their website. Here are a few other dresses I wouldn’t mind having in my closet:
In addition to many different prints and color options, there are lots of different styles to choose from, plus they even offer tops, skirts, and pants (including rompers too!).
What do you all think of the dress? Have you ever ordered from eShakti? I think I may need to launch search and rescue for my tape measure, because I would love to get a custom romper, since I struggle to find one that fits right.
What are your Easter weekend plans?
I received this dress from eShakti in exchange for a blog post review, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
