Hello, lovely friends! Welcome to Monday. Another day, another dollar, amiright?! After two weeks of extended weekends, this one was far too short. But aren’t they all?
As discussed on Friday, I’ve entered the stage of pregnancy where I want to eat all the things, so that is what I did this weekend–I didn’t have energy to do much else! Friday night we ordered pizza, and I put down four slices of cheese like it was nothing. I probably could have had a fifth, if it was placed right in front of me. On Saturday, my neighbors and I had a “just us gals” lunch where I promptly devoured a chicken & havarti sandwich and didn’t think twice about it. Later that day, we went to a Mexican place with friends, and I ate my weight in chips and guac then devoured a cheese quesadilla before the others could even assemble one fajita.
Other than eating all the things, I would say Matt and I had a very productive weekend. We made it through season 5 of Homeland, and took down our Christmas decorations. We also had the most amazing brunch at Ted’s Bulletin–but don’t worry, I’m not going to tease you with tantalizing pictures of food today. I’m saving that for a brunch post later this week!
Millie also had a productive weekend. She supervised the taking down of decorations, and prepared a blog post for her Chewy review coming later this week.
We made it through one week in January. We can make it through another.
