Congratulations everyone, we did it! We’ve somehow survived the week back to work after the holidays. Today also marks 36 weeks of pregnancy for this gal. Yikes!
I was trying to put together a “favorites” post for today, and it was a struggle. Despite this week feeling like it was excruciatingly slow, it actually seems to have flown by pretty quickly, and looking back, everything seems like a blur. Never fear, for I do have some favorites to share with you–what have I been loving this week? Food. Give. Me. All. The. Food.
I tried to be careful about not taking the “eating for two” thing seriously throughout my entire pregnancy, but now Aida is very insistent that we eat for two. On Monday afternoon, I had eaten all the food I had packed for myself by about 2:30pm–I knew I wouldn’t last until dinner so I walked over to the deli next door and bought a grilled cheese.
Pregnancy cravings have become very real. I crave food, and I crave it all the time. Maybe that’s why this week seemed to pass so slowly yet still felt like I blur–I was experience a long, drawn out, food coma induced by sugar and carbs.
