HEEEEEYYY GIRL HEYYYYY! And by “girl,” I mean “Friday,” and by “hey” I mean “I am sobbing with relief at your long awaited arrival.”
Anyway, lovely Leslie over at A Blonde Ambition posted up a template to use for this week’s Confessional Friday, and since I’m sure there are some new faces out there (especially those coming over from Life of Bon this month), I thought it was the perfect time to talk more about myself!
1. What’s your middle name?
Well, well, well. You are VERY lucky this was a question, because I usually make people guess my middle name, and they always lose. Why? Because I have not just one, but TWO middle names–Geneva Francis, named after both of my grandmothers. My parents originally planned to name me Geneva Francis, but then–wild card–they threw in Kathryn at the last minute.
2. If you could live anywhere else in the world where would you live?
I can’t imagine myself living in any other state but Virginia, but I guess to play along with this game I’ll say Paris, France. The one time I visited I had the best loaf of bread I’ve ever tasted in my life, and their butter just can’t be beat!
3. Tell us about your guilty pleasures.
Stuffing my face with Taco Bell while watching Pretty Little Liars. I don’t think that needs any explanation.
4. What do you like best about your job? If you weren’t doing that, what career would you have pursued?
If I had my druthers, I’d be a big-time writer with a cooking show on the side.
5. Five items you’d grab during a fire. (People and pets don’t count. Those are a given.)
A stained glass jewelry box my grandfather made for me, which happens to contain my grandma’s engagement ring. Then I would probably grab a box of mementos from our courtship, my external hard drive, a box of childhood pictures, and a reusable bag to carry all these boxes. However, if there was a real fire, I’d grab Matt and Millie and get the hell out.
6. Marathon running…something you’d like to pursue or just plain crazy?
That depends. What kind of meal would be waiting for me at the end?
7. If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Cheesesticks from Bella’s followed by a Borgata chipwich for dessert.
8. Last person you spoke to…annnnnd….go!
That would be this handsome fella:
9. Favorite childhood toy
A dollhouse, also crafted by my grandfather, that resembled a southern, antebellum style mansion. Somewhere out there is a picture of my cousin and I posing in front of the dollhouse, with our entire collection of trolls lined up in between.
10. Breakfast cereal of choice
Coco pebbles, FO SHO. Except I’m an adult now, and can’t handle all the sugar in the morning, so I usually stick to oatmeal or plain cheerios.
Aren’t you so relieved you know these things about me now? I’m sure it was keeping you awake at night. As a reward for reading through this entire post, you should head over to Life of Bon for an awesome giveaway, brought to you by some very lovely ladies, including yours truly.
