DUH, I know that’s not how the rhyme goes, but it fits so well for today’s blog post.
Well friends, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I, of course, ate more than should be allowed, did quite a bit of holiday shopping online, AND accomplished several of my November goals!

It wasn’t exactly a restful holiday, but it was a productive holiday. Let’s have a recap on those goals, shall we?
– Complete NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month)
Sadly, I did not meet this goal. The challenge is to write 50,000 words in 30 days, and, well, I managed to get to 2,000. I’m disappointed in myself, but I just let other things get in the way of writing. I’m hoping that, even though November is over, I’ll keep working on that novel.
– Start going to spin class twice a week
Check! I didn’t exactly go to spin class every time, but I did manage to get to the gym almost twice a week this past month.
– Get a head start on Christmas shopping
I OWNED the interwebs on Black Friday. I would say I’m about 80% finished with all of our shopping.
– Unpack and organize
After our last trip to my parent’s house, we came home with quite a bit of stuff–furniture, photos, and all kinds of random junk from my childhood. The good news is everything is unpacked; the bad news is there’s still a million pictures lying around our office, just waiting to be organized.
– Stop playing Candy Crush
I am making serious progress on beating this addiction. Since I set this goal, I think I’ve only played it when the line at Starbucks or Panera is super long. I think out of all my goals, I’m most proud of this one.
Overall, I’m pleased that I actually met some of my goals this month. What did you accomplish in November?
