Do you ever have those moments when you write down your grocery list, but forget to include the key ingredients to a meal? And then you don’t realize it until it’s time to cook dinner, but you don’t want to go back out because you have a doodle and she has already had to be in her crate for the entire day?
Don’t put me back in the crate, mom!
Well, I had one of those days yesterday. I was going to make chicken chili when I realized I didn’t have any sort of canned tomatoes in the pantry, AND I couldn’t find the can of tomato paste I KNOW I had purchased the day before. Talk about D-U-M!
I opted for garlic powder, instead of mincing real garlic. Remember, we want to do as little work as possible.
Then, you throw it all in the crocky-pot and that’s that.
Sorry this picture isn’t fancier. I was serious about exerting no effort.
Real simple and real delightful–that’s my kind of recipe!
