This girl likes to dance. I like to dance in the car, in the shower, in the kitchen, and sometimes in my desk chair at work. So of course, when I spotted a $50 groupon for private dancing lessons, better believe I snatched that offer up!
Not that I need dancing lessons, I mean I’m a bonafide pro! I could be giving the lessons! But I thought it would be a nice activity for us to do, in preparation for our first dance. A little choreography couldn’t hurt.
All of my friends and family were so excited…dance lessons, what fun! All of Matt’s friends and family responded with “Matt dancing? Can I watch?” Bless his heart.
Actually, Matty was perfect on the dance floor. He’s never had formal dance lessons in his life, and he picked up the basic waltz, foxtrot, and swing dance steps in just one short lesson. In fact, it was a very short lesson–only 40 minutes. We didn’t even get a chance to discuss choreography for our first dance song! Which is probably a good thing, because we haven’t decided on that just yet….and if we did, do you think I would announce it here, for the whole Blog world to see? Well, maybe. Lord knows I love the attention.

Anyway, all this talk of dancing lessons and first dance songs just makes me giddy with excitement! I mean, this you-know-what just got real (I’m not going to curse on this blog, that’s vulgar). Yesterday I looked at more wedding dresses (and buddy, that is its own post), we’ve already sent our first thank you note, and not to mention our engagement pictures are just a little over two weeks away! I think it is all starting to hit me, which probably explains why I’ve been so emotional lately. On Saturday, Matt and I watched a Disney Channel Original Movie called Geek Charming, and I’m pretty sure I cried throughout the entire second half. Yep, ya know, just practicing my tears for the wedding.
In conclusion, after starting a post about dancing lessons, I guess what I’m really trying to say is this:
